LED Light Therapy
LED (Light-Emitting Diode) will activate the skin’s photoreceptors and allows the skin cells to absorb its energy. In treatments the LED penetrates the skin to treat issues from the inside out.
LED works in the deep layers of the skin to inhibit bacteria formation, stimulate collagen and reduce inflammation
The different wavelengths will combat different issues and your therapist will tailor the treatment to suit your skin.
No skincare can penetrate as deeply as LED, and it is a non-invasive procedure. Which means no known side effects and no down time.
Red light – 635nm
This powerful wavelength can penetrate deep into the skin to accelerate healing, reduce inflammation and regenerate the extra cellular matrix. It is a highly anti-inflammatory wavelength that can help to reduce and control rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis and breakout-prone skin.
Green light – 560nm
This is the skin calming mode that will help to reduce inflammation. Hyperpigmentation is caused when the skin is under trauma and consequently excess melanin is produced. Green LED can target this area and help prevent hyperpigmentation by decreasing inflammation in the skin.
Blue light – 415nm
Blue LED is an excellent treatment for breakout prone skin by killing Propionibacterium in the skin, therefore it will reduce pustules, papules and comedones. Seborrhoea can be reduced therefore giving the skin a brighter, smoother and matte appearance over time. It can help to reduce inflammation that can arise alongside the breakouts.
Purple light – 308nm
This mode can help to heal and repair the skin, brighten up the skin and treat acneic skin issues.
Yellow light – 590nm
Yellow light can help to accelerate wound healing and aid in lymphatic drainage by detoxing the skin and preventing regular breakouts and a sluggish complexion.
Orange light – 610nm
This wavelength works to boost blood circulation, oxygenation and aid in lymphatic drainage. In doing so, it’ll work to feed the skin with vital nutrition and improve overall quality and health of the skin.
